Aline

Inspired by the true story of Aline Sitoé Diatta, this animated short follows a young woman in Senegal who begins receiving spiritual messages from the forest. When colonial authorities seize her village's rice harvest, Aline urges her people to resist and reclaim their dignity. Though she is eventually arrested, her courage inspires a lasting spirit of unity and resistance among her people.
